If you're in the mood for an old movie in monochrome, may we recommend Alfred Hitchcock's Notorious.
The 1946 undercover thriller, starring Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant, is beautifully shot and quite entrancing, with the two leads sparkling on the screen.
This may just be our favorite Hitchcock of all - with everyone and everything hitting on all cylinders.
The film -- with its noir screenplay by the "Shakespeare of Hollywood" Ben Hecht -- was so impactful that it's thought to have inspired Ian Fleming to write his James Bond novels.
Whatever you believe, Notorious is a great ride, a precursor to suave, beautiful and chilling characters that are now constants within our cinematic universe.
