We went to the Icelandic Phallological Museum.
Oh, is that the penis museum?
Yep, the penis museum. Definitely an amusing way to kill an hour or two.
So, it's just... dicks?
Dicks for days. All kinds of dicks.
Like animal ones?
Yeah, mostly animal penises. They have everything from mouse penises to whale penises and everything in between. One exhibit featured work by Cynthia Plaster Caster—she was famous for making plaster casts of rock stars' penises.
No way. Was Jimi there?
Jimi was there.
Nice.
They also had lots of quirky and artsy stuff—penis sculptures, penis paintings, Mexican penis flutes, you name it.
Wow.
Oh, and there’s a gift shop, of course.
What kind of stuff do they sell?
What don’t they sell? My favorite was this squishy penis stress ball—it was green and oddly satisfying to squish. But they’ve got playing cards, bottle openers, magnets, pins, T-shirts, sweatshirts—literally everything you can imagine.
Honestly, it’s worth a stop if you’re in the area. It’s weird, it’s funny, and it’s definitely memorable.
