Lake Zurich is truly the heart of the city. Not only can you go boating, but you can also go swimming in it.
Open during the warmer months (from mid-April to the end of October), Seebad Utoquai is a golden swimming spot in Zurich.
Opened in 1890, the lakeside wooden facility gives swimmers of all ages a place to take a dip in the lake, dive off its diving boards, float on a wooden raft, or just soak up some rays. But that's not all - there is also a library, a Mediterranean restaurant, a sauna and massage offerings.
Pools are available for non-swimmers, as well.
The cost? Between $5 and $10 USD, depending on age.
NOTE: If you find yourself across the lake, there’s another swimming facility called Seebad Enge. This facility offers is open all-year-round with the sauna available during the winter months.
