It was recommended by my fashionable insider friends to go to a particular restaurant, that there was an up and coming chef with a flair. The restaurant was in the center of old town Cadiz, where you could see that a lot of money was poured into restoring the beautiful old buildings, dilapidated in other corners of town. The town square was alluring, with royal palm trees and lanterns, in a way we wanted to sit on that bench forever.
We ordered a sampling of all his dishes, and even took recommendations on local Cadiz wine pairings. We loved it.
But alas, all good things come to an end. The young chef is now working at a luxury golf resort, Real Club Valderrama. We follow his career to make sure we are the first to hear of his next venture.
