For meals or lodgings around Lake Cuomo, Ville d’Este won’t let you down.
Over-the-top prices, sure, but it’s a beautiful hotel, a place where celebrities like Tom Holland stay and Ferraris and G-Wagons pull in front.
If you’re looking to overnight, you can choose between suites (in the main Cardinal Building or Queen's Pavilion) or four individual villas.
We stayed in the Queen’s Pavillion. The rooms are old, but they’re gorgeous and the staff treats you like royalty.
Our room had two full, big bathrooms, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a sitting room with a couch, a chair and a TV.
It's an old school type resort (with a floating swimming pool in the lake) that caters to money - over-the-top expensive with over-the-top service.
And it’s lovely.
