Once a pop-up, now a chain opening locations throughout the city, Apollo Bagels has people lining up for a taste of their sourdough creations.
The shop offers three varieties — everything, sesame or plain.
We hear good things about all of them but we tried the everything option.
There’s crunch and chew - and the right ratio of chilled cream cheese.
Is it worth approx $10 for a coffee and bagel. Not for one person. But if you’re on the run with a friend, split a bagel.
TIP: There’s no seating at the West Village address - save for a tiled rounded nook that can sit two people max. Sit here and people watch. And if you can’t grab it, stand with others or find a bench at the park across the street.
