First opened in Brooklyn, New York, House of Small Wonder serves Japan-inspired brunch and lunch dishes in a former Jewish Girls School in Berlin’s well-known Mitte section.
We brought our family here and everyone cleaned their plate – except for my cousin who we found out doesn’t like roasted seasonal vegetables. We would have loved to share some photos of the delicious food, but to be honest, we had eaten half the food before we even remembered to pull out our devices.
The setting is special and the food, including the Mentaiko Spaghetti and Okinawan Taco Rice, is tasty.
As a public service reminder: please don’t waste food and, psst, remember to eat your vegetables.
