Josquin was an incredible French painter who passed away a few years back.
His technique was very classical -- applying pastels and oil paints to very large canvases.
Josquin would walk the central French countryside and return to his studio, painting from memory.
Or he would delve into his love of the Wild West, painting large portraits of Native Americans he envisioned and admired.
His paintings are beautiful, big in scope and ready for a retrospective.
