I was walking along the hip back alleys of Itaewon after my annual visit to the custom shoe cobbler and drawn to a cool cafe with mid-century decor, vintage record players and movie posters. They also had a small little outdoor patio up front, and then a row of cushioned bench seats along the side that gives you the perfect perch to people watch on a nice sunny day. I love those seats where you can sit and pretend to be a sparrow perched on a countryside telephone wire. It was the perfect place for a mid-afternoon break. And a spot to pin for your Itaewon walkabout.
