NEW YORK, NY, October 14, 2024 -- Flags flying, politicians laughing, Italian pride and culture on full display as the 80th Columbus Day parade march up 5th Ave.
Thousands lined the avenue singing to opera arias of childhood memory under warm sunny skies.
Historic characters dressed in period costumes danced and pranced stories passed down through centuries to the delight of spectators lining the route, indeed for all to be Italian for a day!
