Held in the Laurentian Mountains near Montreal, Canada, the Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur is an annual outdoor music and dance festival for the people.
The main stage is set inside a modern big top, where attendees enjoy local and international performances while still feeling connected to nature and the sounds of the outdoor world. You hear cars and sirens and people, which oddly, could remind you of your childhood..
It’s a beautiful festival, which captures the spirit of culture, the togetherness of community and that really beautiful summer feeling.
This year’s event runs from July 24 to August 4, 2024, and Gibney Company kicks off the festival on opening night with an exciting program of dance, including:
Bliss by Johan Inger; and
The world premiere of New York by rising choreographer Mthuthuzeli November.
