📍 New York, NY – March 19 - 23, 2025
British artist Margo McDaid (above) has made a name for herself across the pond—and now, she’s bringing her bold, pop-infused portraits to the Affordable Art Fair in New York City.
A former teacher turned full-time painter, McDaid’s Lady Paintings began as a personal tribute following the tragic loss of a student. Since then, her work has struck a chord with collectors, with over 16,000 pieces sold worldwide.
At this year’s fair, her booth (A14, second floor) has been a must-visit, drawing crowds of buyers eager to take home one of her signature pop-lady portraits—ranging from US$100 to $6,000.
We saw piece after piece find a new home, and, naturally, couldn’t leave without one ourselves.
If you’re in New York, don’t miss your chance to discover Margo’s world of color and character at the Metropolitan Pavilion. You’ll be charmed, too.
If you can’t make it to the fair, you can still explore McDaid’s work at her Margate and Ramsgate studios in the UK or online at margoinmargate.com.
