This by appointment shop has limited public viewing hours, and fortunately for us Oona was open for browsing and buying.
Owner Anna Schetelich carefully curates a high-end selection of jewelry.
You’ll likely find a new collection when you visit. But what first drew us into the store converting us from window shoppers to serious shoppers, was a series of rings and pendants by Japanese designer Jiro Kamata, who entitled his latest collection Oculus.
Inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, these silver and 18K rings and pendants feature reflective sapphire glass camera lenses, which are backed by PVD or 24K coating.
These colorful mirrored adornments are gleaming and alluring.
Another store highlight? We especially liked an orange avant-garde made out of thin metal by Austrian designer, Fritz Maierhofer. This piece of twisted anodized aluminum hung like a fancy dress sleeve cuff when put on.
But our favorite had to be a heavy cuff stitched out of shimmery tempered glass rods by Japanese designer duo, Megumi and Nobuyuki Jin. Cool to touch and substantive in weight, we liked that one so much that we had it wrapped and took it home.
