We have it from a trusted source that superstar chef Jose Andres (who trained at elBulli and is behind The Little Spain Market with the Adria Brothers in NYC's Hudson Yards) is a regular here when visiting the seaside of Vejer de la Frontera.


The restaurant is called La Castilleria.


Opened in 1994 by grill master Juan Valdes, this Santa Lucia-based bastion of barbecue tempts you with its descriptions of grilled meat, burning wood, and sea and garden air.


This is already a Michelin mention so time to get crackling.
