I hadn't been to Flute in a while and now that I've been back, I'm not really sure what kept me away for so long. It's got a speakeasy vibe (come by honestly--it's the former home of Club Intime), dim lighting (extremely flattering), and a bounteous plenty of champagne offerings. (Personally, I'm a fan of Perrier Joet Belle Epoque Brut, but I'm flexible.)
It's a good place for a small cocktail party or a date night. The jazz singer had a lovely voice, the drinks were smooth, and the attendees tend to be in a celebratory mood. Hours are easy to remember as the place is open exactly half of the time: 4 pm to 4 am every day. So stop by after work, or after the party.
