We were tipped off to this place by a stylish friend and her in-the-know reporter friends that frequent Tokyo.
Orlando is an Italian restaurant in Tokyo that's open for dinner after 6 pm. Reservations can only be made by phone between 2 pm and 5 pm, Monday through Saturday.
But we are further intrigued by the description on their website:
This is a restaurant with a concept of enjoying wine and food. Therefore, please refrain from ordering non-alcoholic drinks only (including water). For customers who cannot consume alcohol (including minors and children under the age of 20) we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting our store.
Currently all the cooking and serving is done solely by the owner.
Note: We read the carpaccio here might be from a special Fukuoka horse, not beef - so ask your server first.
