People have been going to Rocco's for decades for the cannolis. There's the classic with chocolate chips, and also the pistachio version. But we recently - and extremely belatedly - discovered the lobster tail.
A crispy Napoleon-like exterior shaped like a conch filled with the lightest of cream, to bite into this Italian pastry is like taking a bite of sweet crispy air.
Of course there are also the rum-drenched bombs, Italian anise cookies, and strawberry shortcake that I adore. All perfectly paired with a strong black coffee they serve.
We know it may be sacrilegious to say this, but just saying, we think the lobster tail is the best.
