If you're a fan of New York museums, like the MoMA, the Whitney or the Guggenheim, you'll love the Pinacoteca.
This iconic museum is located in Sao Paolo's old city center and showcases Brazilian art, from the 1800s onwards.
I like the modern and contemporary pieces here the best. But in all, the works here are not for casual viewing, they are impactful with expertly curated exhibits always at the ready.
Just a note: the museum borders a public park that's filled with some unsavory characters. Take a garden stroll through the Parque Jardim da Luz ONLY if you're with a local.
