Our in-the-know Parisian friends took us to this gem of an eatery: an open-to-all restaurant housed within France's public radio headquarters.
The restaurant inside the Radio France building is appropriately called Radioeat, and features a wide range of delicious European and Asian-influenced fare.
The food is excellent without fuss and the 60's minimalist setting takes you straight back in time. But the star of the show is the view of the Eiffel Tower, which shimmers proudly in the background.
It's a great dinner in Paris, especially if you're catching up and sharing laughs with local friends. There is not a tourist in sight.
Tip: Afterwards have a drink a floor above at the bar called Belair.
Tip x 2: After dinner enjoy a stroll along the 1km-long island on the Seine - Ile aux Cynes - towards the Eiffel Tower. There are bridges on ether end of the island. You may also know this island to be where the Statue of Liberty Paris stands.
