Rijsttafel, translated as "rice table," is an Indonesian meal in the Netherlands, consisting of rice and a sampling of small savory plates that sparkle with peanut, coconut and soy flavors.
Some risttafel restaurants in Amsterdam that are well-reviewed are Sama Sebo, Sampura, and Indrapura.
We've been to Indrapura. It's in a good location, we thought the food was good and it generally gets high marks for its rijsttafel menu.
But the one that has our attention is Restaurant Blauw.
Reddit users, Fodor's and Conde Nast Traveler all count themselves as fans. We want to see if the buzz is real.
