We think the Taronga Zoo in Sydney is spectacular, and one of the best zoos we've ever visited.
Walk in an enclosure with emus, wallabies and kangaroos; set eyes on a Tasmanian Devil; gaze upon a koala.
If you're a nature or animal lover, it's a day you'll never forget.
You can also stay the night at the zoo and collect even more memories.
We haven't done it yet (it's on our list), but Taronga Zoo offers a special experience called Roar and Snore, where you can stay the night after the park closes.
Then you can get up close with some of your favorite animals; embark on a night safari with zoo keepers; and stay in a safari-style tent overlooking Sydney Harbour.
Sounds splendid. Dinner, breakfast and a next-day pass included.
