Dear all,
I just spent a week skiing in one of my favourite areas in the world— a lost place in the Italian Dolomites known as Val Gardena. I was based in Ortisei where the largest population of the Ladin people preserve their ancient language in five isolated valleys.
Daunting Sassolungo 1000 meter north face overpowers the landscape.
She’s blue because she’s not dressed. Temperatures were -15 Celsius.
When the sun is out, the Unesco World Heritage Site mountains do not fail to impress.
