Winslow Homer's 1885 ode to anglers, "The Fog Warning," shows a fisherman rowing back to his ship with a hefty haul of halibut. There's only one problem: the sea is stirring up and the fog is rolling in.
While we don't know the outcome, we like to think the fisherman paddled himself out of a jam.
