The site of Zurich's first grand hotel, the place where even Charles Dickens once stayed, has now been renovated and re-opened by the Mandarin Oriental Group.
Titled the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, the hotel sits in the business center of Zurich and serves as a magnet for all things chic and fancy around Paradeplatz.
Much like the Mandarin Grill in Hong Kong, the Savoy's all-day dining restaurant, the Brasserie, is a place to see and be seen while having a meal with clients or fellow execs.
The restaurant's best dish: Zurcher Geschnetzeltes, veal in a mushroom and cream sauce that's served over potato rosti.
It's supreme to say the least - like the hotel itself.
