TRAVEL
* King's travel brought him to such places as Argentina, Bimini, Brazil, England, Germany, Ghana, Italy, India, Jamaica, Norway, Venezuela, and Senegal.
* He stayed at The Willard Hotel in Washington the night before his "I Have A Dream" speech.
STYLE
* King was known to wear dark suits, shirts with French cuffs and cufflinks and a fedora. He also liked wearing tweed, even earning the friendly nickname "Tweed" when he worked in Connecticut as a teenager, said one news story.
* His wristwatch was a Rolex Datejust reference 1601.
* King's favorite dessert? Pecan pie.
