In the beachy hamlet of Amagansett is Innersleeve Records, a record shop that reminds me of ones found in big cities.

Though spruced up, there’s an old-school, throwback feeling to the store.

Record shops seem to always reflect a bit of the past, like how dogs look like their owners.

But while there’s some nostalgia in the air, I always feel relaxed here, seeing what’s in the new box, walking the aisles, taking a look at the different genres, and talking with Innersleeve’s friendly and knowledgeable staff.
