People travel for Chef Kurt’s Austrian cooking, but Wallse has always felt like a neighbourhood spot — understated, casually elegant, and somehow, there’s always a table for regulars.
This year’s prix fixe brunch is just lovely: steak tartare with a soft Easter egg, smoked salmon on rösti, braised rabbit spätzle, and white asparagus with Easter ham. And the desserts... the coconut mousse and passionfruit filled chocolate egg is my pick.
Wallse's braised rabbit spätzle is a staple on their menu. But just like Page out East, order it with a wink this Sunday — it’s Easter, after all.
